Which is the whole reason our operational advice is worth anything.
LinkGro Technologies is a product engineering team. We design and build web platforms, mobile applications and AI systems, and we operate them afterwards — the part of the work where most of the real lessons are.
We also run our own SaaS — in production, with paying customers, on infrastructure we pay for and an on-call rota we answer. It means when we estimate a migration, or argue against a rewrite, or tell you a managed service is cheaper than the thing you were about to build, that opinion was bought rather than read.
Most of our work falls into one of two shapes: a team that needs to ship a first version properly, or a platform that has outgrown the decisions it was built on. Both start the same way — a short paid discovery that ends in a written scope you can take to anyone, including someone else.

What we will and will not do
These exist because each one has cost us work at some point, and we would rather lose it up front.
You own the code from the first commit
It lives in your repository, or is transferred at handover. No licence retained, no escrow, no dependency on us to keep running.
We will tell you not to build it
If the thing you asked for is not the thing that solves the problem, that goes in the discovery report — even when the smaller scope is worth less to us.
Estimates carry their assumptions
A number without the assumptions behind it is a guess with a decimal point. Ours name what would change them.
No offshore relay
The people in the kickoff are the people writing the code. Nothing is passed to a team you have not met.
